Polpharma’s Oracle Agile PLM ran on ageing on-premise servers, and that put its product data at risk.
- A single server failure or system crash could wipe out critical product data, with no guarantee of a timely recovery.

InspireXT rehosted Polpharma’s Oracle Agile PLM on Microsoft Azure like for like, so the platform moved without functional change.
- We installed Agile PLM on Azure and replicated it in its current state, so users opened the same system they had used the day before.
- We carried the existing configuration and custom developments across untouched. That meant no rework, no retesting of new functionality and no added risk.
- We preserved every integration with upstream and downstream systems and re-established each one in Azure, so business processes ran without interruption.
- We mirrored the overall architecture and environment layout in Azure, giving Polpharma’s team a familiar setup on a modern platform.
- This built on earlier work with Polpharma, where InspireXT redesigned the packaging documentation lifecycle in Agile PLM and connected internal teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners on one platform.
- We continue to support the platform through a managed services model covering application support, system monitoring, security, performance tuning and integration support.

When does Oracle Agile PLM Premier Support end?
Oracle Agile PLM Premier Support ends on 31 December 2027. Version 9.3.6 is the final release, after Oracle removed 9.3.7 from the roadmap in 2023. From January 2028, Agile PLM moves to Sustaining Support, with no new patches, security fixes or critical bug updates. Can Oracle Agile PLM run on Microsoft Azure?
Yes. InspireXT rehosted Polpharma’s Oracle Agile PLM on Microsoft Azure like for like, carrying its configuration, custom developments and integrations across unchanged. Users opened the same system they had used the day before, now protected by Azure backup and disaster recovery.
Does moving Agile PLM to Azure extend Oracle support?
No. Rehosting on Azure removes the risk of ageing servers and protects product data, but Oracle’s support dates stay the same. After December 2027, Agile PLM on Azure still runs on Sustaining Support. Rehosting gives a stable base to plan the move to Oracle Cloud PLM on your own timeline.
How do you keep 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP audit trails when you migrate Agile PLM?
A like-for-like rehost moves the application, its data and its history together, so existing audit trails stay intact.
